Z+F LaserControl® Office and Scout are the optimal solution to work efficiently and fully with the laser scanners of Zoller + Fröhlich. A range of filters, measurement and registration tools enable a high differentiate processing of scan data and are the key to filter, register and color 3D point clouds. Thanks to the large selection of export formats provided by Z+F LaserControl®, data can be imported and further processed in all common 3D software applications.

State-of-the-art manufacturing techniques are used in our electrical workshop. The world-renowned and appreciated Z+F machines are used for wire processing. These assure a high quality standard of the final product and allow great time savings in the manufacturing process. Thereby we can offer our customers a good and fair price-performance ratio. Scantra® is a programme for automated registration of point clouds captured by terrestrial laser scanners based on identical planes and points. Existing factory workshops and industrial plants can be surveyed three-dimensionally in detail. For new buildings, further extensions and reconstruction in the future, there are spatial coordinates available which are accurate to a millimeter, from which two-dimensional construction plans can easily be drawn. Generation of 3D models From the data gathered by Z+F laser scanner systems and with the LFM software, 3D models of the actual state of the factory or plant (e.g. tubes, steel girders) can be generated. Furthermore, it is possible to generate complete CAD models from the 3D scan data (the so-called point cloud). Clash detection It is possible to simulate manufacturing processes and to carry out collision checks with 3D models. Example: Another production robot of the same type has to be added to an existing plant. Facility management All fixed equipment like cables or tubes is surveyed as well and saved in a 3D database which serves as the basis for future reconstruction.

Our metalworking shop allows us to realize customized housings according to customer requests. A team of experienced employees assures the necessary precision including all required cutouts and drillings of housings. Our own tool shop is equipped with machines for lathing, milling, electrical discharge machining and grinding which allow us to quickly manufacture customized parts/adjustments in-house.

Technical information Electropneumatic driven, easily adaptable crimpmodule for processing of loose Z+F ferrules integrated in fully automatic machines. In the range of 0.5 to 10 mm² (AWG 20 – 8) wires and ferrules can be crimped. Standard is the trapezoidal crimp corresponding to DIN 46228 part 4. The machine can optionally be adapted to other crimpforms. Adjustments, important data, functions and status will be programed and shown on the touch display. Universal use in the specified range without tool change. I/O interface enables easy integration and time-optimized function in fully automatic systems.

Technical information The SC 05 universal is an electropneumatic benchtop crimper, equipped with a very efficient electropneumatic drive. The machine is operated by a foot-switch. The sequence is monitored by a microprocessor control. With the integrated quadro-crimping-tool, ferrules in the cross-section range from 0.5 mm² up to 6 mm² (AWG 20 - 10) (insulated/uninsulated) and twin ferrules with plastic collar from 2 x 0.5 mm² to 2 x 2.5 mm² (AWG 2 x 20 - 2 x 14) and crimping lengths from 6 mm up to 18 mm can be crimped. The crimper can easily be adapted to different cross-sections by turning the adjustments knob on the front cover of the machine. Other crimping forms or cross-sections are possible on request.

Technical Information The pneumatic driven crimper is specifically desig­ned to crimp loose turned contacts. In the range of 0.08 up to 4 mm2 (AWG 28 – 12) wires and contacts can be crimped. A 4/8-indent crimp corresponding to SAE 22520 is standard. The crimping-depth can be adjusted manually in 10 µm steps. The machine is equipped with standard crimping tool kit, the crimper can be easily adapted to various contacts. Brackets for optimized infeed and centering of the wire are optionally available. Technical information The SC 03 is an electropneumatic crimp press. It is equipped with a very efficient pedal switch. The correct and fully controlled sequence is monitored by a microprocessor control. The machine is started by a foot-switch. An integrated adjusting mechanism enables a correction of the crimping depth. Crimping tools can be changed easily and are available for the processing of ferrules with a size of up to 70 mm² with different crimping lengths. On customers demand special tools with different crimping geometries can be developed and manufactured.

Technical information The AM 04 is an electropneumatically driven, modular stripper crimper for the efficient processing of loose, insulated Z+F ferrules. The stripper crimper can be converted using appropriate set-up parts for wire end ferrules with cross sections from 4mm2 to 10 mm2 (AWG 12 - 8) and crimping lengths from 8mm to 18mm. Specification For defining required tools the correct specification of the processed ferrules as well as the processed wires are needed.

The WPC is an integrated solution to produce wires for switch cabinets: it marks them and crimps the corresponding wire end ferrule. The WPC loads an EPLAN or other CAE file and produces all wires within this list step by step. Cross-sections from 0.5 mm² to 2.5 mm² are supported. For each item in this list, the wire is cut to length sequentially with the help of the multi feeder Z+F EVOFEED® , the corresponding labels are printed and the correct ferrule is crimped to the wire with the UNIC-GV universal crimping machine. The thermal transfer printer (THM-MMP) is suitable for all markers and labels of the MultiMark family as well as for continuous material, fabric and polyester labels, heat shrink tubing or PLC labels. The operation of the individual steps is carried out manually, which allows the operator to route and connect the wires for the complete job in the switch cabinet wire by wire. Due to the high level of automation it is not necessary to change wires and ferrules.

The 3D data is particularly useful for insurance companies when it comes to the following tasks: Assessment of property value Surveying the inventory in 3D Calculation of areas In fact the 3D data is of particular importance in the case of damage. A new survey of the damaged object can be carried out and by using software, the condition before and after the damage can be compared and visualised directly. The amount of damage can be quantified much more precisely in comparison to a quantification without the use of 3D data.
